Q1) How far are you from Brisbane?

A1) Hardcore Blasters is located in Ipswich, a 40 minute drive from the Brisbane CBD.

Q2) Do we have to book online?

A2) Yes, we have a limit as to how many people can be onsite, and therefore we require a booking system that allows us to monitor and cutoff bookings once they reach our limit.

Q3) Do we have to pay online?

A3) Yes, our booking system requires you to book and pay online.

Q4) Can we book and/or pay when we arrive?

A4) No, we have a limit as to how many people can be onsite, and therefore we require a booking system that allows us to monitor and cutoff bookings once they reach our limit.
If people show up without a booking, we will have to turn them away.

Q5) How do I book in more than one person?

A5) At checkout, increase the quantity to the number of people you’d like.

Q6) Why I cant see the session day or time that I want?

A6) If you can’t see a session day or time, it means there’s no availability.

Q7) Do I need to be a part of a team to book?

A7) Not at all. You’ll be allocated to a team on arrival.

Q8) There’s a group of us coming, can we all be on the same team?

A8) We’ll try our best to get you all on the same or opposing teams, but it can’t be guaranteed.

Q9) What do I need to bring?

A9) Your blaster (transported in a secured bag) and associated gear, gels, closed-in shoes, full coverage eyewear (no gaps around the frame and the face) or preferably a mask (if you’re under 18, a mask is mandatory.)

Q10) Do you have hire blasters available?

A10) Yes, the hire package includes hire of a blaster, gels, and a mask. Select the 'Hire Package' when making your booking. 

Q11) Can children participate?

A11) Children from the age of 13 can participate, but require a parent/guardian to complete and sign their waiver, and an adult (18+) to accompany them for the entire duration of their time on premises. The accompanying adult doesn’t have to pay (unless participating themselves).

Q12) Do you need an accompanying adult if you’re 17?

A12) Yes, everyone under the age of 18 requires a parent/guardian to complete and sign their waiver, and an adult (18+) to accompany them for the entire duration of their time on premises. The accompanying adult doesn’t have to pay (unless participating themselves).

Q13) Why do you have an FPS limit?

A13) The field limit is 330FPS, and after careful consideration was implemented to maximise safety, and enjoyable gameplay.

Q14) Is the FPS limit flexible?

A14) No. Your blaster(s) must be fired through a chronograph before entry to the field. If you’re over, you’ll be asked to use another blaster or hire a blaster.

Q15) Is there a “bang bang” rule for close quarter firing?

A15) No, expect close engagement.

Q16) How do you deal with disagreements?

A16) We will not tolerate violence or overly aggressive behaviour in any way, and you will be banned from the premises indefinitely. There are no warnings.

Q17) Can I record while I’m playing?

A17) Absolutely!

Q18) What happens if I'm late? 

A18) Please arrive no later than 5 minutes prior to your session. If you're late, we're required to refuse you entry, and we cannot issue a refund. All sessions begin with a safety and game brief, and this is subject to change, so even if you've been before, it's expected that you're present for the briefing. 

Q19) Can my friend come to watch? 

A19) No. Hardcore isn't set up for spectators. Encourage them to play!

Q20) I can't make it to my session, can I get a refund?

A20) Please read the session information on the booking, before making payment. No changes, no cancellations, no refunds. 

Q21) Can I use Ultra Elite or hardened gels?

A21) Yes, we allow all water-grown gels.

Q22) Can I use HPA? 

A22) Yes, we allow all powered gel blasters; manual, battery, gas, c02, HPA. HPA tanks must be Australian stamped and in a bag or grip. HPA equipment must be commercially available within Australia, and the user must know how to handle and use their equipment safely.  

Q23) Can I run tapped (line from blaster to canister) gas?

A23) No. Gas must be left in the staging area, and not taken on the field. 

Q24) We've booked a Private Session, can we bring food or a cake?

A24) You're more than welcome to bring some snacks, such as lollies or chips. As the group will be running around a lot, food isn't recommended until after the session has finished. 

Q25) We've booked a Private Session, is there somewhere we can stay back afterwards to cut the cake or open presents? 

A25) As we have to clean the premises and quickly prepare for the next Session, we can't accommodate your group after the session ends. We recommend heading to one of the local parks such as Queens Park (4 min drive) or Riverheart Parklands (2 min drive). 

Q26) Do you have a parents room or play area for young children? 

A26) As our venue is for ages 13+ and a non-spectator venue, we don't have facilities to cater for children under the age of 13. 

Q27) What should we wear?

A27) Comfortable clothing that you can move easily and run in. Closed-in shoes are mandatory.

1.01 Individual Rights

Hardcore Blasters recognises the individual’s right to make decisions in respect to their own person.

1.02 Players Rights

However, any individual, as part of a team should recognise and respect the rights of all players to participate in the spirit of fair competition.

1.03 Players Decisions

Hardcore Blasters will not make any recommendations to condone the continuance in the Sport if a player is pregnant. That decision shall be entirely for the player, and based on medical advice. Doctor's opinions should always be sought so as informed decisions can be made.

Hardcore Blasters recommends that each individual player who is pregnant should seek medical advice in respect to their own medical position and the medical position of the unborn child.
